Letter From The President
We have built a strong customer base and a dedicated staff at Southern Metal Products for more than three decades. In light of this, there has been an upward trend in total sales since 1992.
My experience includes time spent on the shop floor in production and supervisory capacities. My hands-on working knowledge of the industry gives me a greater sense of helping the customer meet their needs in a timely fashion. With the addition of computer-aided equipment, we have been able to reduce cycle time in completing each job.
Our success hinges on the philosophy of giving back to the community. Southern Metal Products has donated steel for many projects in the Louisville area. The steel provided was used for creating bleachers, basketball and soccer goals and other miscellaneous structures.
